Statoil Fuel & Retail selects Oracle's JD Edwards ERP solution

 

30 August 2011 - Statoil Fuel & Retail (Ticker: SFR) awards the contract for its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to Oracle Corporation Ltd. The solution will be based on Oracle's industry-leading JD Edwards product, selected following an extensive formal review process.

"This is a cost-effective and flexible ERP solution that will enable further growth, greater simplicity and increasing efficiency for Statoil Fuel & Retail. It will be a significant tool in helping us deliver added value for all our stakeholders" states Klaus-Anders Nysteen, CFO Statoil Fuel & Retail.

Since becoming a standalone retail business in 2010, Statoil Fuel & Retail has had a temporary agreement with former parent company Statoil ASA for the use of its ERP solution. This agreement will end with the full implementation of Statoil Fuel & Retail's new ERP solution.
